Position Information

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care in a mixed unit, primarily serving medical patients with occasional neuro surgery and CV surgery cases.

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements: No
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Years of Experience: 2+ years
• Float Requirements: Med-Surg, Stepdown

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 38
• Patient Ratios: 2:1 or 3:1
• Equipment: CRRT, vents, hemodynamics
• EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile

• Must Have Skills/Experience:
  • Ability to pass a medication and math competency test, covering drug actions, side effects, and dosage calculations. A passing grade of 90% is required.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: CCRN/ SCRN, open heart recovery, CRRT
• Type of Patients on Unit: Mixed Unit, primarily medical, including neuro surgery and CV surgery patients
• Personality Fit: Team-oriented individuals with a positive demeanor
