Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personal nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed registered nurse (RN). The ideal candidate will assist with activities of daily living and perform routine tasks while reporting patient status and concerns to the RN.

Job Summary

The CNA will perform tasks associated with patient care, ensuring comfort and support for individuals within a healthcare environment. This position plays a crucial role in providing whole-person care, addressing the mind, body, and spirit of each patient.

Essential Functions

• Assist patients with daily living activities including nutrition, hydration, personal care, and positioning.
• Take vital signs such as pulse and blood pressure.
• Support patients with bathing, dressing, and feeding needs.
• Perform clerical duties including routing patient reports and maintaining unit organization.
• Provide assessment data to the certified nurse within the scope of practice, including vital signs and patient responses.
• Carry out other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• At least two years of recent experience in the field is required.

Organizational Requirements

All associates are required to receive all necessary vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. Medical and religious exemptions may apply. Participation in E-Verify is also required.
