Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to join our team. This position will involve providing high-quality care to critically ill children and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in the PICU.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in clinical status.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health maintenance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Previous experience in a PICU or similar critical care setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Shift Requirements

This position requires a commitment to either a 3×12 or 4×12 shift schedule, including holiday shifts as needed.
