Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe and efficient nursing care to patients and their families. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assist patients in attaining, maintaining, regaining, and sustaining optimal health status. This role involves the following responsibilities:

• Implementing the nursing process by delivering effective relationship-based nursing care.
• Demonstrating technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive patient outcomes.
• Engaging in clear communication and collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical outcomes.
• Contributing to personal and professional development within the field of nursing.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications may be required based on the clinical setting.
• Knowledge of nursing processes and practices.
• Ability to operate a variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies.

Unit Information

This position is within a 22-bed unit that services both adult and pediatric patients ranging from ages 0 to 100+. The unit is recognized as a Level 3 Trauma Center, specializing in stroke and chest pain management.

Health and Professional Requirements

• Compliance with immunization requirements, including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccines.
• Annual negative PPD or equivalent TB screening requirements.
• Successful completion of a physical/health statement and drug screen.
• Completion of all necessary background checks and professional verifications as mandated.
