Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caring for patients in a Critical Care Unit (CCU), demonstrating expertise and commitment to high standards of patient care.

Job Summary

This position requires a registered nurse with extensive experience in critical care settings. The role involves providing comprehensive patient assessments, administering medication, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. This is a 13-week assignment requiring availability for every other weekend and holiday.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure
• Experience with CCU patients is essential
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Mid to large hospital experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and manage patient responses and adjust care as necessary
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
