PCU/MedSurg/Tele Nurse

Job Description

A position is available for a night shift PCU/MedSurg/Tele nurse, which includes every other weekend rotation. Candidates must be capable of working independently and performing charge nurse responsibilities. This role requires flexibility, as nurses will need to float to other units (such as Emergency Department and Maternal Child Health) as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in accordance with established protocols.
• Perform independent nursing tasks and charge nurse duties.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to other units as needed based on patient care requirements.
• Participate in quarterly educational sessions to enhance professional development.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license valid in the state of practice.
• Experience in PCU, MedSurg, or Telemetry nursing preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills to interact with patients and staff.
