Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires a professional with a strong background in emergency care and the ability to provide high-quality patient support in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• 12-Hour Night Shifts: 19:00 – 07:30
• 36 or 48 hours per week accepted
• Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend

Qualifications

• Required Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • CPI
  • PALS
  • TNCC
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience
• Previous charge experience is preferred

Patient Care Responsibilities

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Key responsibilities include:

• Triage
• Assessing and managing a wide range of patient diagnoses commonly found in an inner-city emergency department
• Utilizing communication systems effectively, including SBAR for reporting
• Documenting patient information using Cerner

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with medication systems such as Accudose and Omnicell
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic documentation systems

Uniform Policy

Scrubs must be dark blue.
