Mammography Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing screening, diagnostic, and stereotactic breast biopsies. This position focuses on providing high-quality imaging services in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms with precision and care.
• Conduct stereotactic breast biopsies as required.
• Utilize GE imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Document patient information and imaging results using Meditech and Change Healthcare PACS.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography (ARRT (R)(M)).
• New Mexico State License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography.
• Advanced skills in performing breast imaging procedures.

Work Environment

The Mammography Technologist will work in an outpatient imaging center that offers state-of-the-art technology and a supportive atmosphere. The unit has a strong focus on patient experience and teamwork.
