Mammography Technologist

Position Overview

The Mammography Technologist will provide high-quality imaging services for patients, specializing in screening and diagnostic mammograms, as well as performing stereotactic breast biopsies. This role requires a registered and competent Mammographer with the ability to support both outpatient imaging needs and patient care.

• Unit Type: Outpatient Imaging Center
• Equipment: GE Imaging Systems
• Documentation System: Meditech, Change Healthcare PACS
• Patient Ratios: Standardized for outpatient settings

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms.
• Conduct stereotactic breast biopsies as required.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid certifications: ARRT (R)(M), New Mexico State License, and BLS.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography.
• Exceptional skills in patient interaction and care.
