Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. This position will require flexibility to float between units as needed and will involve working with high-risk obstetric patients.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Float between Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and High-Risk Antepartum units based on patient needs.
• Manage patient caseloads with expected ratios of 1:1 or 1:3 for couplets.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and utilize Epic for charting.

Work Schedule

• 12-hour shifts starting at either 3 AM or 3 PM, or at 11 AM and 11 PM.
• Weekend shifts required on an every-other-weekend basis.
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate shifts primarily during days or nights, with adequate notice provided for any changes.

Special Requirements

• Experience in High-Risk OB is essential.
• A vehicle is required for travel between multiple locations within the region.

Facility Information

This position is located in a Short Term Acute Care facility with a total of 418 staffed beds.
