Radiologic Technologist

Job Description:

This position requires a skilled Radiologic Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of independent experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the operation of various radiographic equipment, including DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment. Candidates are expected to work varied shifts with an average of 3 days of call per month. Please note that there is no guarantee of hours or time off requests during the initial 13 weeks of contract.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain all radiographic equipment with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and best practices.
• Utilize dosimetry badges as required.
• Experience with specific systems such as Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Epic EMR is preferred.
• Arrive on the island the Friday before the Monday start date for necessary HR and employee health clearance appointments.

Qualifications:

• Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by the start of the assignment.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is mandatory.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Experience should include independent operation of radiographic equipment and understanding of radiation safety protocols.
