Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide care in a long-term care environment for older adults. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care while promoting dignity and respect for all residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and oversight of nursing staff.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess patient needs and make independent care decisions.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues, particularly with Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Administer wound care and manage care for geriatric residents.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health care regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Current New York State RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a long-term care setting.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently.
• Compassionate attitude and commitment to providing respectful care to residents.
