Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This is an excellent opportunity for nursing professionals with experience in trauma and neuro surgery settings.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Mids, 4x10s with variable start times of 0845 or 1045
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility can call off 1 shift per every 2-week pay period

Responsibilities

• Manage and care for patients in a Level 1 Trauma Operating Room.
• Expected to handle cases involving Orthopedic, Spinal, and Neuro procedures.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma and Neuro environment; 3-4 years preferred.
• Experience as a first-time traveler is accepted.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Strong circulating skills are essential.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, is expected.

Holiday Availability

Travelers may request 1 of the 3 major holidays off, along with 3 additional non-holiday days; however, working on Christmas is highly preferred.

• The unit features a 25-bed capacity.
• Medication system utilized: Pyxis.
• Charting system: Epic.
• Parking fees apply; additional offsite parking options are available with shuttle service.
