Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

• Unit: 3rd & 5th Med Surg
• Role: RN
• Shift: 12 hours, 7 AM – 7 PM
• Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements: None

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, NIH
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Med Surg
• Preferred Experience: Proficient in Meditech
• Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 22 on each unit
• Patient Ratios: 6:1 up to 7:1
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
• Equipment: Telemetry

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must be willing to float as needed, including to Telemetry and Emergency Department.
• Must demonstrate a family-oriented approach in patient care.
