Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

This position requires a Registered Nurse with expertise in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nursing. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe recovery environment for patients after surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and recovery progress in the PACU.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in post-operative care and provide support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgeons to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification required.
• Prior PACU experience is required.
• Active nursing license in good standing.
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferred.

Health and Safety Requirements

• COVID-19 Vaccination required.
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) Vaccination required.
• Annual influenza vaccination required.
• Hepatitis B Vaccination documented.
• Varicella (Chickenpox) Vaccination required.
• TDAP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) Vaccination required.
• Fit test for N95 masks required.
• 2 Step PPD (Tuberculosis testing) or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) testing documentation required.

Additional Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License or State ID required.
• Completion of background check and clearance forms.
• Professional references will be required during the onboarding process.
