Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking dedicated and qualified Acute Care Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team. This position involves providing comprehensive care in various units, including Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry (TELE). The ideal candidates must be willing to float to different units and hospitals as needed.

Position Details

• Required to work every other weekend.
• 36 or 48 hours per week are accepted.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5 or 1:6.
• Floating to other units/hospitals is mandatory.

Qualifications

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.

Certifications

• AHA BLS certification is required.
• Red Cross certification is acceptable.
• ACLS certification is preferred.

Licenses

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or a Compact license. (Temporary licenses are not accepted.)
• NURSYS registration is required.

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years experience in the specialty is required; however, candidates with 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license and at least 1 year of recent specialty experience may be considered.
