Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for an engaging and rewarding opportunity. Job Responsibilities

• Assist in administering physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Evaluate and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Instruct patients and their families on exercises and therapies to promote rehabilitation.
• Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Float to Med Surg and Outpatient services as needed.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of employment.
• 1+ year of experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records, preferably Epic.

Work Schedule

The preferred work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility as needed.

Facility Information

The work environment will include a combination of medical surgical and outpatient settings. The facility has approximately 30 beds dedicated to medical-surgical care.
