Position Overview

This position involves providing care in an Operating Room setting. The role focuses on circulating in various specialties including General, GYN, Vascular, Orthopedic, Urology, and Podiatry surgeries, utilizing advanced technologies such as the Da Vinci Robot.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as an RN Circulator in the Operating Room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after procedures.
• Adhere to established protocols and best practices in surgical settings.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Position Details

• Unit: Operating Room
• Number of Openings: 1
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Years of Experience: 2+ years required
• Float Requirements: As needed among interdepartmental areas.
• Patient Ratios: 1:1

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid RN certification/licensure to practice in the applicable state.
• Experience circulating in the surgical specialties mentioned.
• Professional demeanor and ability to work in a close-knit team environment.

Additional Information

• Orientation sessions are held biweekly on Wednesdays.
• Potential for weekend coverage and call as needed.
• Dress code will be scrubs, provided by the facility.
