Physical Therapist (PT)

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team for a 13-week assignment. This position involves providing care in a long-term acute care setting, focusing on the rehabilitation and recovery of patients. The successful candidate will be expected to work Monday through Friday and may be required to float to other units as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and function.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
