Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This position is part of a float pool for the Medsurg units, providing essential nursing care to patients in both adult and geriatric age groups. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring comfort and safety for all individuals under their care.

Shift Details

• 12-hour Night Shifts: 19:00 – 07:30
• Available shifts: 36 hours or 48 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Required every other weekend

Required Certifications

• BLS

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med/Surg environment

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in Med/Surg nursing practices
• Experience with blood product administration
• Skilled in peripheral line care and management
• PICC line management expertise
• Ability to start IVs effectively
• Familiarity with using nasal cannulas
• Knowledge of isolation precautions

Medication and Documentation Systems

• Medication System: Omnicell
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Communication System: SBAR
