The Physical Therapist (PT) plays a critical role in the Acute Rehab Unit, providing high-quality care to patients recovering from various conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inpatient rehabilitation, with a focus on orthopedic and neurological diagnoses.

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 32
• Weekend Hours: Every Other Weekend
• Call Requirements: n/a
• Float Requirements: May float to alternate units as required

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 12
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Equipment: FWW, rollator, hemi walker, SBQC, SPC, hoyer, trapeze, sit-to-stand, bariatric equipment
• EHR: Epic
• Patient Population: 18+

Qualifications

• Required Education: MSPT/DPT
• Years of Experience: 1+
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred.
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Orthopedic and neurological conditions.
• Personality Fit: An optimistic outlook on recovery and flexibility are key attributes.
