Registered Nurse (RN)

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines. You will utilize critical thinking, professional, and supervisory discretion, along with independent judgment in your daily responsibilities.

Job Summary

• Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
• Develop a care plan that prescribes interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe environment.
• Evaluate progress toward achieving patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide high-quality patient care.
• Provide education and learning opportunities for patients, families, and team members.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate duties with healthcare team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Acute care facility experience is preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
• AHA-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required.
• At least two years of recent nursing experience is required.
