Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

An opportunity has become available for a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, requiring excellent critical thinking and clinical skills.

Job Details

• Start Date: Within the next 3-4 weeks
• Location: Reporting to San Angelo for the first day of assignment
• Shift Schedule:
  • Day Shift: 4×12-Hour (10:00 – 22:00)
  • Night Shift: 4×12-Hour (22:00 – 00:00)
• Preferred Hours: 48 hours per week; may consider 36 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document all patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations as they arise.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in the Emergency Room setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are preferred.
