Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse (RN) position involves providing direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations within a cardiovascular lab or critical care environment. This role requires a dedicated professional who can effectively address the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care while monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Continuously assess and record patient conditions within the cardiovascular lab.
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient conditions as needed.
• Assist in maintaining equipment and ensuring procedure rooms are ready and well-stocked.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to continuous quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
• Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience in a cardiovascular lab performing cardiac care or in a critical care area is required.

• Completion of relevant competency exams and skills checklists.
