Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab

Schedule Requirements

The position entails working four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 0700 to 1730. Days off during the week will vary, and there is a requirement for on-call duties as needed by the unit.

Unit Information

The invasive cardiology department consists of three procedural labs in addition to a 12-bed preparation and recovery area. The team is composed of skilled invasive cardiologists and electrophysiologists, registered nurses, and technologists. The department handles a wide range of cardiac cases, including diagnostic procedures and complex interventions, with capabilities for advanced treatments such as Impella and ECMO for acute cases. Electrophysiology procedures include cardioversions, implants, and ablations for various rhythm issues. The department is also expanding into structural heart procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience of 2 years in a relevant clinical setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
• Experience with EPIC software is mandatory.

• Ability to care for COVID patients may be required.
• The facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.
• Maximum request time-off is limited to 7 days.
• Holiday coverage as needed, with weekend rotation every third weekend.
