Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility specializing in geriatric psychiatric care. This position plays a vital role in providing quality care to our residents and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Shift Details

• Day Shifts: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM and 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Shift Length: 8-hour and 12-hour shifts available
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
• Holiday Coverage: Every other holiday

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or psychiatric settings.
• Certifications: Current BLS Certification required.

Additional Information

Weekly guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week. Overtime may be available. The initial assignment length is 13 weeks.

This facility accommodates a resident population primarily consisting of elderly individuals, including those with dementia and other psychiatric conditions. Our approach focuses on creating a supportive environment that promotes the highest quality of life for our residents.

Orientation and training will be provided, including a chance to shadow experienced staff members for 1-2 shifts.
