Registered Nurse (RN) – ER Float

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care across various locations using the nursing process as the basis for care delivery. This is a true float position, and the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and continual reassessment of care for specific patient populations. In this role, the nurse will also serve as a patient advocate, effectively coordinating care while promoting safety and clinical quality in daily practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and ensure effective nursing practices.
• Utilize the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and continual reassessment.
• Act as a patient advocate and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Promote safety and ensure quality clinical services in all patient interactions.
• Float between multiple locations as required, with flexibility to work at different sites.

Requirements

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.

Shift Information

This position requires a flexible shift schedule, including rotations of three 12-hour shifts on nights and days. Weekend rotations are included, with varied assignments at different locations.
