Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including pediatric to geriatric patients, primarily focusing on post-surgical and orthopedic rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to enhance patient recovery.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in staff meetings and in-service training sessions.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Nebraska.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is required.
• Ability to provide patient care across a wide age range.

Additional Information

This position requires reliable transportation as public ride-share services are not available in the area. The schedule includes an 8-hour shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break, and the candidate will be expected to work one weekend day every two months.

Orientation will occur every Wednesday, consisting of a three-day classroom session followed by one shift with a preceptor.
