Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our team for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatrics and be committed to providing high-quality nutrition services in an acute hospital setting.

Assignment Details

• Assignment Length: 13 or 26 weeks (traveler’s choice)
• Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, with minor flexibility in hours)
• No Weekends Required
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks (traveler may be called off for one 8-hour shift per 2 weeks)

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutritional assessments, develop individualized nutrition care plans, and provide counseling to patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on nutrition-related topics and dietary modifications.
• Document patient progress and interventions in the electronic health record (Epic).

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; pediatric experience is highly preferred.
• Licensure: Valid state license required; pending licenses will be considered with preference given to candidates with licenses in hand.
• Availability: Time off requests will be reviewed on an individual basis upon offer; all requests must be included in the submission.
