Occupational Therapist (OT) – Acute Care

Assignment Details

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic acute care team for a 13-week assignment. The position is available for immediate start, with flexible shift options of either 4×10 or 5×8 hours during the day. While the team will strive to provide a consistent schedule, please note that three consecutive days off cannot be guaranteed. Coverage is primarily needed Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to inpatient clients, assessing and treating conditions related to daily living and functioning.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary using Epic for charting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active NBCOT certification.
• Valid occupational therapy license for the state of Alaska.

Requirements

• Weekend work is required, with an expectation of two weekend days per month.
• Time off requests will be considered on an individual basis and must be specified at the time of submission.
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered.
• Pending licensure will be accepted for qualified candidates.
