Echocardiography Technician

Job Description

The Echocardiography Technician will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and assisting in the diagnosis of various cardiac conditions. The role involves operating ultrasound equipment and ensuring the quality of images produced for accurate assessment by healthcare providers.

Shifts Available

• Four ten-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
• Alternate schedule of five eight-hour shifts (11:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct echocardiograms to evaluate heart function and structure.
• Prepare patients for echocardiographic procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient exams.
• Collaborate with physicians in the interpretation of echocardiogram results.
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.

Qualifications

• Certification as an Echocardiography Technician or relevant licensure required.
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
