Echocardiography Technician

Job Description

The Echocardiography Technician will play a critical role in providing high-quality cardiac ultrasound imaging. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and ensuring accurate image acquisition for diagnostic interpretation. This position requires strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers to support patient care.

Schedule

• (4) Ten-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Alternate shift: (5) Eight-hour shifts: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive echocardiographic studies including transthoracic echocardiograms and doppler studies.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy of the echocardiographic images and data.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of echocardiographic techniques and protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• License/Certification required for practice.
• Experience in echocardiography is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
