Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in internal or family medicine
• Licensure: Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (CA LVN)
• Certifications:
  • BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross only)
  • IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal
• Flu Vaccine: Required (no declinations/exemptions)
• Travel Experience: Required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Special Skills:
  • Phlebotomy and IV start skills
  • 1 year of recent experience with Epic electronic health record system
  • Appointment scheduling and patient registration
• Typing Skills: Ability to type at least 40-45 words per minute

Job Details

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts between 0700-1900
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, weekend hours from 0800-1700
• Floating Requirement: Yes
• Pending Licenses: Not accepted; must be active at time of submission
