Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist responsible for planning and conducting treatment programs aimed at restoring and enhancing patients’ physical, social, and mental functions. This role includes collaborating as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.

Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, assess patient needs, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Additionally, this role requires supervision of assigned assistants and thorough documentation of clinical activities.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) required; foreign equivalent accepted.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of occupational therapy experience preferred.
• Licensure: Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of practice required.
• Certifications: Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required.

Essential Functions

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and ensure quality of care.
• Utilize clinical techniques and tools to establish and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy interventions following appropriate protocols and techniques.
• Develop individualized care and discharge plans, ensuring clear communication with relevant parties.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation within established timeframes.
• Supervise therapy assistants and ensure effective patient care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
