Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Tech to join our Interventional Radiology (IR) team. This role is essential for assisting in various procedures and ensuring the optimal functioning of the cath lab.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in interventional radiology procedures and provide support to the medical team.
• Prepare and maintain the workstation, ensuring that all necessary equipment is ready for use.
• Monitor patient vital signs and communicate effectively with the medical team.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in patient education and provide post-procedure care instructions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procedures performed.

Work Schedule

This position requires flexibility in scheduling. Expect to work:

• A 4×10 hour shift from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM.
• Weekends may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs.
• Availability to work 3 out of 5 major holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant clinical experience in a cath lab or similar setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of interventional procedures and radiology protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
