Radiology Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to provide high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging in various clinical settings, including the Emergency Department (ED) and Operating Room (OR). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in radiology, be familiar with state and federal regulations, and have the ability to effectively use both mobile and stationary radiographic equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care in the ED and OR.
• Maintain accurate patient records and images in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging examinations.
• Stay current with advancements in radiology techniques and technologies.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• Current IEMA license required with a fluoroscopy permit as mandated by the state.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
• Experience in an Emergency Department and Operating Room setting is preferred.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification is required.
• Proficient computer skills are essential.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
