Registered Nurse (RN) – Postpartum

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Postpartum unit. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns during their postpartum period.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to postpartum patients.
• Monitor and assess the health and progress of mothers and newborns.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate new mothers on postpartum recovery and infant care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of postpartum nursing experience.
• Current BLS and IV certification.
• Proficient in IV start skills and labor & delivery (L&D) nursing.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience.

Shift Details

This position requires availability for day shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 07:00 to 19:30.
