Post Partum Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking experienced Post Partum Registered Nurses to join our team for an exciting opportunity. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in maternal health and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the post-partum unit.
• Monitor patient status and vital signs, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist new mothers with breastfeeding and education on infant care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations and hospital policies.

Requirements

• Must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in a post-partum setting.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.
• Ability to work weekends as needed by the department.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred.

Start Date

The anticipated start date for this position is within the next 3-5 weeks.
