Operating Room Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Technologist to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the operating room, with specific proficiency in handling O-Arm equipment being a significant advantage.

Job Details

• Schedule: 80 hours biweekly, rotating shifts (3×12 or 4×12)
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Weekend Requirements: Yes
• Floating Requirements: Clinicians may float within their scope of practice, including Emergency Department, Inpatient, Outpatient, Operating Room, and portable imaging services.
• RTO Restrictions: Holiday requests must be minimized

Responsibilities

• Assist in various surgical procedures within the operating room.
• Ensure sterile environments are maintained and surgical instruments are properly handled and organized.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Adapt to different equipment and technology, specifically Siemens and GE imaging systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years operating room experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have worked in a Level 1 trauma center.
• At least 1 year of travel experience is necessary.
• Current ARRT certification is required.
• Candidates must display comprehensive knowledge and skills in operating room protocols and practices.

Additional Information

• No travel partners are required.
• Locals are accepted; pending licenses will not be considered.
• Extensive OR experience is required, with a preference for those coming from large volume hospitals.
