CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CVOR Registered Nurse to join our team. As a CVOR RN, you will play a critical role in the operating room, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgery.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition, assessing for complications.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure high standards of patient care.
• Utilize appropriate scrub techniques and maintain sterile environments.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in cardiovascular operating room procedures preferred.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to respond to medical emergencies.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Schedule and Requirements

• Day shifts, 3×12 hour schedule (07:00 – 19:00).
• Must be available for weekend call rotation (one weekend per month).
• Experience floating between units may be required based on patient needs.
• A personal vehicle is necessary for commuting to various locations within the region.

Additional Information

• This position does not require block scheduling.
• 1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio is expected.
• Orientation is a reduced non-billable orientation program.
• Scrub color is flexible; provided in the operating room and catheter lab.
• Charting will be conducted using Epic.
• No parking fees are associated with the position.
