Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Position Information

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient and compassionate care to patients in the Labor and Birth department.

• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: Nights, 3×12, 1900-0700
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: As required
• Call Requirements: None

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, C-EFM, NRP
• Years of Experience: 2+ years of labor experience in a hospital setting with a monthly delivery rate of 350-400
• Float Requirements: May be required to float to postpartum

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 15 labor beds, 7 ante, and 4 pre/post
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 2:1 (estimates)
• Equipment: External fetal monitoring
• EMR: EPIC

Preferred Skills

• ACLS, PALS certifications are preferred

• Scrub Color: Black
