Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This position is within a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital setting, working alongside a team of healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans for patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and exercises.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Work Schedule

The position requires Monday to Friday availability, with 8-hour workdays.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a rehabilitative setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a diverse healthcare team.

Additional Information

Dress code includes navy blue scrubs, and employee parking is available on site. Proficient use of electronic medical records (EMR) system is required.
