Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in postpartum care to join our team. This role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to postpartum patients and their newborns.
• Assess and monitor the health status of mothers and infants.
• Provide education and support to families regarding newborn care and recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC software for patient documentation and communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of postpartum RN experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience in a Level 1 Nursery is preferred.
• Valid California Registered Nurse license required.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions allowed).

Work Schedule

• Night shift: 3×12 hours (19:00 – 07:30).
• Weekend availability is required.
• Floating to other areas may be required within the scope of practice.
• Must be available to work 3 out of 5 holidays.
• No scheduling requests can be accommodated; maximum 2 weeks in advance.

Special Requirements

• EPIC experience is required for this position.
