Surgery Radiologic Technologist

Job Overview

A Surgery Radiologic Technologist is needed to provide high-quality imaging and support during surgical procedures. The technologist will work closely with the surgical team to ensure proper positioning and imaging techniques are employed.

Shift Information

• Shift: Days from 7 AM to 3:30 PM
• Call required: 1-3 days weekly and every third weekend
• Must be available to respond to call within 30 minutes
• Floating between different areas may be required

Requirements

• Current certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA):
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• TMB (Texas Medical Board) certification
• Experience in surgery using a C-arm
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a surgical or operating room environment

Facility Information

The facility has 15 operating rooms equipped for various surgical procedures, ensuring a dynamic work environment.

Additional Information

• Scrubs will be provided by the facility
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used: HMS GUI (Medhost)
• Maximum request time off (RTO): 3 days
• RTO blackout during Christmas
