Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology

About This Position:

Join our dynamic team in Vascular Interventional Radiology, where you will play a critical role in patient care and procedural support. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing nursing care for patients undergoing interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to patients in the Interventional Radiology unit.
• Provide moderate sedation and monitor patient vitals during procedures.
• Assist in various interventional radiology procedures, acting as a circulating nurse.
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
• Support a team environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff.

Shift Details:

• 4 x 10-hour shifts from 07:30 AM to 06:00 PM or 3 x 12-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM.
• Rotating shifts with weekend and on-call requirements.
• Must arrive within 30 minutes for on-call trauma activation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in ER, trauma, ICU, critical care, or procedural nursing.
• Experience in pediatric or adult vascular interventional radiology is highly preferred.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
• Must hold an active nursing license in South Carolina or a compact state.
• Experience with moderate sedation is essential.

Additional Information:

• This position may require floating between two different building locations within a 10-minute walking distance.
• Participation in emergency response teams may be expected during hurricane season.
• Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
• Charting is conducted using the Epic system.
