Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Vascular Interventional Radiology team. This position offers the opportunity to provide top-tier patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• 4×10-Hour Shifts: 07:30 AM – 06:00 PM
• 3×12-Hour Shifts: 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM
• Rotating weekends may be required based on on-call needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Vascular Interventional Radiology unit.
• Assist with interventional procedures by circulating and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Administer moderate sedation as necessary during procedures.
• Rotate assignments between two different downtown buildings as needed, which are a short walking distance apart.
• Respond to on-call requirements, arriving within 30 minutes for trauma activations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in ER, trauma, ICU, critical care, or procedural settings.
• Experience with pediatric and adult vascular interventional radiology is highly preferred.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Active South Carolina or compact state nursing license required.
• Radiation badge must be provided by the candidate, as it is not supplied by the facility.

Additional Information

• Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June to November).
• Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
• Charting system used: Epic.
• Parking is complimentary during nights and weekends for on-call staff.
