ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float team. This position requires a strong background in critical care nursing with an emphasis on versatility across various intensive care units.

Position Details

• Position Type: ICU Float Pool
• Shift: 3×12 Night Shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 – 1:2

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care RN experience required
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
• Weekend work is mandatory
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Floating within the hospital is required; floating to sister hospitals is not permitted
• Local candidates are accepted; pending licenses are not accepted
• Availability must include at least 2 out of 3 major holidays
• RTO (Request Time Off) is limited to 1 week maximum

Special Notes

The Critical Care Float Cluster includes the following units:

• Surgical ICU
• Cardiac ICU
• Cardiothoracic ICU
• Medical ICU
• Bone Marrow Transplant/Oncology ICU
• One mutually agreeable Med-Surg Department

Additional Information

• Guaranteed hours may be subject to low census, and providers may be called off without charge in 4-hour increments up to one shift worth of hours in a 2-week cycle.

• Parking Costs: $10.26 Daily
• Scrub Color: Any color (Scrubs are provided for OR personnel)
