Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to patients of all ages undergoing surgical procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Administer medications and manage patient records accurately.
• Engage in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications

• Current RN license valid in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience in Orthopedic surgery preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in an Operating Room setting.

Work Schedule

• Rotating shifts including two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts.
• Weekend hours required every other weekend and as needed.
• Call requirements may include weekend rotations.

The successful candidate will exhibit a proactive attitude, strong professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. A motivated approach to seeking additional assignments and continuous improvement is essential.

Dress Code

Appropriate scrub color will be navy blue, provided by the organization.
