ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced, critical care environment.

Position Information

• Role: RN
• Specialty: Combined ICU/PCU
• Shift: Nights, 7p-7a
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: Up to every other weekend
• Call Requirements: Up to 2 times per contract

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: Active RN license (compact or state), BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent adult ICU experience

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 9 (1 code bed)
• Patient Ratios: ICU 1:2; PCU 1:4
• Equipment: Ventilators, BiPAP, arterial lines, CVP monitoring, central lines, Sigma infusion pumps, cardiac monitoring, Omnicell, glucometers
• EHR: Paragon (Clinical Care Station)

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in a mixed ICU/PCU environment.
• Manage patient needs including ventilated patients on vasopressors, ARDS, DKA, and other critical conditions.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
• Participate in shared float rotation with core staff, adapting to various patient care requirements as needed.
