Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maternal and newborn care with the ability to provide comprehensive nursing support to patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and the postpartum period.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to expectant mothers and newborns in the LDRP unit.
• Monitor and assess patients throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care practices.
• Participate in emergency procedures and interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum.
• Current New York State RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification required.
• Experience with travel nursing is preferred.
• Must be willing to float between units as necessary.
